Originally quoted as aiming for the end of October…I get that dev is subject to change, but an update would be good, as i’m sure there’s at least some visibility on progress/an updated timeframe.

Decided to ask in the in-app chat this morning as requests in this community thread are being ignored. Just got the stock response:
"I am really sorry, I understand its frustrating.
Are development team are still working on it and will issue it out as soon as they can but they need to ensure they everything functions as intended before releasing it. This is to make sure we are providing the best possible produce we can."
So, coming soon then… Maybe… And probably not.
It is frustrating, but IMO answers like that are more frustrating.
Edit - asked for my comments to be passed on the the business team - they were, and a member of the business team reiterated that they’re working on it and referred me to Trello. I’ve provided further comments as a result of that. Not having a go at the person who responded but basically saying tell us when, or tell us you have no idea when.

Hello all, I’m Richard from the Business Banking team and I work on the Android app.
First up, I’m really sorry for how long you’ve had to wait for this update. It’s taken a little longer than expected, but I have some good news… We’d love to invite you to test out the new app layout in the next release!
How to test the new app layout 
Update the app as normal from next Monday (16-Dec) and head to “Monzo Labs” (which you can get to from the settings screen). In “Labs” you just have to turn on the “Business Account New Nav” feature, and voila!
Have a play and tell us what you think!
Because it’s such a big change in many ways, we’re rolling it out slowly. The first step is to let you opt-in manually (if you’d like). Right now the feature is in beta on Labs but we’re excited to share this, so we’d be extremely grateful to hear about any weird things you spot, or things we can improve.
It’s also important to know that you can go back to the old app layout if you want to by going to Labs and turning this feature off.
How we built it 
This is for for those who like a little more detail on what we’ve been up to. Bringing business accounts into the new navigation involved introducing a new way of organising things into the app. In the old navigation you switch between accounts, but if you’ve seen the new navigation already you may notice some accounts are shown grouped together, such as your current account and joint account; along with any Pots, loans, credit cards and other things relating to you.
When we thought about combining personal accounts, business accounts, US accounts, we knew a single list of accounts was not going to be enough. We wanted to give you a well-defined space for your business account, Pots, Tax Pots, accounting tools and other things so they’re not jumbled in with all your personal ones.
We did this by adding a new level of organisation at the top level, and with that you can switch between these separate accounts in the new navigation

Thanks for the update @richardleggett . The app grouping sounds like a sensible approach (to help separate out business and personal in-app, like the card colour helps in the wallet).
I’m on the Beta programme on Android, so look forward to getting the option on Monday and having a play.
Great to get some solid info on what’s happening, and I will definitely provide feedback. Is this thread the best place for that, or is another channel better for that?

Will it be coming to iOS at the time time? Please say yes… poke the iOS team with pointy sticks if you can’t say yes without lying. It might make it so you’re not lying!

The blue circle that surrounds the active account when switching seems to be in the latest Testflight for everyone even if we don’t have a Joint account. If we tap our image, it gets the circle.
Could this functionality possibly ever be used for Joint accounts too? It would nice to switch to them this way too. Or is that a whole other ballgame?
I think thats a different level of accounts from my understanding. You have top level (business, personal, US), then within them can have mutliple accounts, so within personal you have Current, Joint, Credit Card e.t.c.
So to switch between top level its as shown here, and switching between secondary level is how it is now, swiping the main feed or dragging down.

Re the blue circles on iOS, on the radar, thanks for flagging though 
Could it be used for Joint Accounts? Great question. Both your current and joint accounts are displayed in the same personal account list and cards view, along with any Pots, so you wouldn’t need to use the new selector. Business and US profiles are considered different enough to be in the selector.
