I love the feature of being able to save % on my TAX pot, i would like this feature on all pots to help automatic savings etc. It makes life sooo easier when it already done for you

I second this! Just started reading Profit First and in it they talk about setting up multiple bank accounts (or pots in our case) for Income, Profit, Tax, Expenses, Owner Comp and how you should split up your deposits between them by percentages. I already do this with the Tax Pot but would be amazing to send % of every deposit to different pots to save us doing it manually.
Please please please expand this feature to be used on any number of pots!

The transfer takes 20/40% of what? Eg. Of profit after expenses, calculated at month’s end? Of something else?

thinking about using the tax pot - would I be right in thinking it only works for the default category of ‘sales’ or ‘income’, or can it be set to treat a user defined category as the one to calculate from?
We need this feature too. Being limited to only one pot per account where automatic payments into it as percentage of income is not enough.

Absolutely. I am going through profit first too and it would be soooo much easier when everything would be automated and no need to do it manually. I am so bad at organising money manually. By the time I need to do a profit first, I have already spent that money without realising it.
I’m moving towards profit first accounting for my freelance self-employed work and this would be such a useful feature!

Monzo Business Pro and Team customers can now create up to 3 Tax Pots pots to automatically put a percentage aside for tax and other big bills every time they get paid.
You’ll need to be on the latest version of the app to set up more than one Tax Pot.

This new functionality of allowing more than one tax pot is good but why only increase this by two pots?
We would have much preferred to have the ability to make all 20 of our pots tax pots, if we wanted.
N.B. We currently need tax pots on nine of our twenty pots but this might increase in the future.
