For Cuba, the most practical advice is to have two cards - ideally one Mastercard and one VISA, and also having cash with you just in case.

Hi @anon87726072 given Simon’s recommendation I’d suggest seeing if you can get the Barclaycard Platinum Travel card for a fall back, as it’s one of the few-fee free visa travel cards.
