The other answer is to uninstall Monzo and use Emma for day to day monitoring of your account transactions, safely hidden behind a pin, and only download and install Monzo on a temporary basis when you need to send a transfer to someone!

if that works for you, sure why not , if you feel more comfortable with that approach
some people feel comfortable taking what they consider reasonable precautions, where others don’t feel they are necessary, some feel more are necessary above and beyond 
each to their own

Yeah I’ll split any further discussion into the existing topic. I can’t see any benefit in repeating the same discussion about PIN protection for the app again.
