I quite like it, the loading screen is nice, less busy albeit more bold.

Ended up using Wise to move my money over from Ireland
We had to fill out a form in branch around an hour ago, and just had a notification from Wise they’d sent my money to Halifax which we got an instant app notification from
I was expecting Wise to atleast ask one question, or Halifax, but apparently not - this is the first ever transaction on our Halifax account aswell
When I was asking Halifax how much they would charge for a standard SWIFT transfer, the first guy mumbled about the Visa exchange rate and hung up on me, second told me the rate from Google after 10 minutes which is false because their own website clearly shows a margin fee, and third person looked on the terms and conditions for a while before telling me she didn’t know

Current account customers for sure.
The bulk of Lloyds is secured (mortgages and motor) I believe.

More current account customers who use/have used the app? Probably yes.
More current account customers full stop? Definitely not. Even if you only count Lloyds Bank and ignore the Bank of Scotland/Halifax customers.

I suspect that far more Lloyds customers use their current accounts as a main account, for receiving their wages and paying their bills, than Monzo customers do.

The horse logo actually puts me off from using any Lloyds products. 
Unfortunately the horse is dated back to at least 1677 so I doubt they would change it anytime soon.

New beta meant to be released tonight / tomorrow so I’d say Friday for release or maybe even next week now.

No real changes are expected now. Fixing a few issues that had been reported by testers. Expect it to be Friday or Monday next week for release
Interesting that you’d say that. It’s one of the things that I like about the bank, particularly their use of the horses in adverts. It provides a strong identity for the bank. Maybe it’s old fashioned but I like the use of heritage here and think it works really well to convey a sense of reliability and trust. Plus bloody wonderful seeing them running on the beach like that! I’d take that over “ant and dec” or “muffin me” man anyday.
