You need to change to a new phone to add LLOYDS now.
It’s not gonna work in your phone anymore, and save your time not to call them, they have no clue what it’s going on, even you complaining they can’t resolve it as well, check the record in this platform
I need to take some lessons from you guys. Two complaints and I only got a measly £50 the second time (and only because customer support had given me some incorrect unrelated advice).
I can’t for thr life of me understand how they are getting away with this (not meaning to sound entitled, just bemused with their attitude and ignorance - you’d wonder what other processes they don’t care to fix).
Honestly at this point I don’t know why they don’t just close them and move to a hub model in each town for all banks.
Even if wanted to visit, the Nearest Lloyds is at least a 35 min journey one way, and none open at the weekends so would have to go the one that’s an hour away.
It seems they are just looking for more customers for their credit products…who will probably pick up other services with them. They seem to be too generous
Other than the first 12 months, this is actually worse than Barclaycard Rewards (unless it does come with a Rewards programme, in which case it’s the same).
EDIT: Eeexcept for this: Your standard interest rates will be linked to the Bank of England Base Rate. This means they will change automatically in line with changes to the Base Rate
So, if the base rate falls to 0.5% again, the card rate will drop to 9.4% from the 12.9% it starts at (assuming you start there)?
They have some kind of reward program - called something like everyday cashback. Technically better than barclaycard rewards as their cashback system went as of today for a few weeks
Ah yes, I’ve noticed that, but it never gives me any offers. I guess it’s only if you use the account as a main one? Never done that. It’s not good marketing, as I can’t see if the offers are good enough to switch my banking over.
It seems very similar to their existing cashback card, yes you get 1% to start, but after it drops to the same 0.25%
I suspect the rate might be better but if you’re using a card like this for the cashback, you’ll want to pay the card off, so the rate doesn’t actually make any real difference.
Same situation. Halifax offers are sometimes pretty decent, and imagine Lloyds will be similar. Not sure you need to use it as your main account as such, but probably needs some transactions just to get started as I believe they try to slightly personalise the offers.
