They’ve been saying that since they launched. Yawn!
Agreed they are really bad about communicating what they are doing. They have only just updated the app for iPhone 6 and up resolution.
I’ve taken a look at Goldex and opened an account (not funded it yet though). I thought they were good on the communication, I spoke to someone on the phone who was helpful though to be honest I didn’t ask about the card. Not too fussed about it, more interested in the marketplace/smart buy thing they’ve got going on
How could anyone even think of using glint after going into administration… investors bailing them out in the hopes that they’ll eventually cash in on the shares… hah laughable!!
Everyone google ‘glint pay, thoughts and warnings by roy sebag’. He is the founder of goldmoney and outlines some big red flags.
I use Goldex amongst other apps for investment. Ive never had a problem with them.

They have not been any major development to their current app in over two years.
From a mailshot back in August there is a hint of what is coming:

Hello
This week we’re canvassing your support. As Glint grows and improves, we want to ensure that we are meeting your needs and understand how we can make your Glint experience even better. You’re going to see some positive changes to your Glint app next month as we introduce our new peer-to-peer, money sharing facility, Glint it! This will allow you to share multi-currencies as well as real gold, instantly, with other Glint users.
As we continue to evolve we want to get to know you better, to build a stronger and more inspired Glint community. How can we make things easier for you? How can we help you feel more engaged with Glint? Ultimately, how can we help empower you with our app and other services?
Which is where you come in… we’re looking for 10 volunteers who would be prepared to answer a set of very simple and straight-forward questions to help us on our quest. Those 10 volunteers, who would be selected at random from those of you who respond, will receive 2g of gold into their Glint accounts, as a thank-you.If you’d like to help make Glint even better, as well as have the chance to receive
I just can’t believe they’re still holding on.
I wonder if Ziglu is about to blow them out of the water entirely.
This is regarding Glint, , from one source on Facebook glint did get an inward investment of a few million towards the end of last year. Early in the year, they did hint they were moving towards a p2p type system (whatever that means).
Regarding Ziglu, they do not deal with Gold, I think the nearest competition to Glint is maybe Tally. Glint does have an issue with trust with old customers from their administration and the drama within their operations around this time last year.
However, things may change.

Glad I saw this thread, I just signed up but:
- Coasting since 2015, just hit 100k users
- was in administration
- same team that ran it when it went into administration runs it now
making me debate using it or not
