Can’t you use the calendar app on your phone?

This already happens. If you don’t have the funds to cover it, you will receive a push notification.
However, don’t rely on it. If you have 4 different DDs set up for £50 each to all come out on the same day, and only have £55 in your account, you won’t receive a notification. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

yeah it asks if you want to be notified
I’ve been with Nationwide for 20 years. Never had a notification of that sort. Did you have to request it?
