✅ Dark Mode

At this point I’ve forgotten that YouTube has a “light mode” lol

I’d love this!

While I can see that it doesn’t look important on the surface, to some people it’s a accessibility option.

I know someone who has issues with white pages with black text. While he uses inverted colours for things, it would be nice to have a properly designed version. It can also reduce eye strain and some people like me just prefer it.

Very nice.

want.

Learnt from this forum that there is no pleasing everyone, but that would surely please most people as is

That’s much more polished than the ‘forced’ version on Android. Very nice indeed :+1:

Very pretty.

How will my Sortable Pots look in Dark Mode, or my Custom Categories… oh wait, those aren’t deemed important enough… :soon:

lol I get you’re frustrated - I am as well. But id imagine dark mode is easier to implement in comparison to the other features (which I do want very dearly as well)

No doubt.

But it all takes time/money/effort. Personally I feel that could be better spent elsewhere.

Different strokes and all that. I’d rather have Dark Mode than Custom Categories or Rearranging Pots.

Yup I get that.

But for me it’s ‘cosmetic’ over ‘useful’. Hey ho.

Perhaps we should have a list of things that forum users threaten to leave Monzo over and rank them that way instead. Then we could stop worrying about reordering pots and dark modes and get the pulse graph back :joy:

Great idea! A list of ranked features, like a product roadmap… oh wait…

lol

From a purely cosmetic viewpoint, that looks awesome

That screenshot looks very nice. Can’t wait for it to be implemented!

New instagram dark mode looks great as well. Just need WhatsApp to get on board and I’ll basically be #FullDarkMode
