And not to discredit Amex & others, but their mobile app is a hand-full of pages (half of which just direct you to the main website anyway). So it’s easier for them to provide Dark Mode
I’m definitely not asking for a copy* but do you have an internal end-state vision or strategic goal for Monzo that you use as a lodestar or anchor for your work? Or do you consider options as they arise?
*Although my DMs are open. /halfjoking
Labs please
Wish they would, come on Monzo I’ll do anything for this
Labs please, again
Anything you say?
This could get interesting ![]()
But I won’t do that
If it gets me dark mode… I’ve no shame
Got that in my head now ![]()

If it makes anyone happy about how long this takes us, I have been told by ex-Amex colleagues that they had been working on dark-mode for over two years.
It’s surprisingly not that simple
I hope the Android team, having finished “early” compared to iOS, is now implementing Android 12 colour themes, yeah?
I do like the colour themes in 12, makes it look much more polished.
I’m not surprised, I suspect most banks and financial institutions have actually been working on it in some capacity since iOS 13 was announced at WWDC 2019, if not before!
This has been the longest drawn out “coming soon” ever. I wonder what the delay is.
It’s not revenue driving or important for most people. So I would imagine it keeps getting pushed down the list.
And to add, it’s not as easy to do it properly as some people think. Although there has been plenty of time now, so it’s probably just not a priority.
I don’t think they responded after most of us asked for a toggle in labs for Android users.
Have you seen the disparity which just showed up in Android Labs?.. the cheek…
I’m quite happy waiting for DM on
when it launches

What if they make you choose between dark mode or JA parity?
Danger mouse uses android?
