So do all the High Street/legacy banks. I’ve got two with Lloyds, three with Halifax, two with Nationwide, etc. I think Monzo is the only bank that limits you to one current account.
yes same here when they cleared just the 1%
Isn’t the ‘unique selling point’ of Budget sorter nothing to do with the actual pots/accounts you set up, it’s the automatic ‘when I get x amount paid into my account, automatically transfer y amount into pot z based on what was spent from that pot last month?’
So, there’s nothing stopped Chase (or any other bank really) being able to setup almost a ‘variable standing order’ service to move money between pots/accounts based on other factors other than date and a fixed amount.
Hey guys, happy Tuesday!
I know we haven’t spoken about it for like ever but I wanted to bring up the round up account. 5% on the change seemed really market leading a “couple months ago” but now it’s kinda basic.
I wonder if it’s time they looked at the interest on that acc…
Thoughts?
It’s a gimmick, and just that
Never gonna earn a load.
Don’t see any movement on the rate tbh.
It’s a gimmick but I think it works.
Thinking of moving away from Chase, mainly due to the slow responsiveness of the app and lack of open banking. A higher level of round up interest may just keep me there.
Not with YNAB it doesn’t. Although I don’t know if that is YNAB’s fault or Chase’s (Or someone else’s).
It’s a good account, especially when kept “hidden”.
The only real flaw though is that they cap it at 12months and then ask us to transfer it out.
So rather than change the rate, they should extend the length of the account to 2 years+ and cap the total amount in it like the Regular Digital Savers at the legacy banks.
I have 88 days until it’s reset:
I can’t lie, I saw the sender on this email and thought that ITV had finally replied to my application…
Corrected that for you
Lol well they do ask which savings account they want it to be transferred in
I’m in the US right now but stupidly didn’t think to bring my physical Chase card.
I think I’m right in saying the some Chase ATMs support Apple Pay. Does anyone know if this works for our UK cards? Has anyone here tried it?
Only one way to find out!
Ask on a forum full of well travelled banking enthusiasts?
For extra context I’m currently sat in the apartment trying to work out whether it’s worth tracking down a Chase ATM or not.
When I first went to the US with Chase (in the September they launched) it didn’t work BUT I haven’t tried it since, so you may as well try.
The answer is no unfortunately.
First time here for me, but I’m sure I’ll be back here soon for work. Will need to remember to pack my Chase card next time.
Hi, new to Chase, ACC has been open for 4 weeks with no problems. Tonight I’ve started getting messages saying my phone is jailbroken and I get logged out of the app! My phone is definitely not jailbroken!!!
Any suggestions please? Thanks!
I had same last week.
Force close app. Restart. Normal service resumed
Didn’t realise phones other than iPhone could be jailbroken…
