The wisest thing I’ve heard you say Carl.
Happy cake day!
Yup, you should 100% move back!
Did you guys get that email about more surveys coming soon? And the awards draw you go Into once you do one.
Just to say I am in Turkey right now so I need to be brief and can’t test right now as turkey wants it’s own great firewall I suspect.
Your videos do seem faster than mine, the monzo me test will be useful to try actually.
The thing is the push has nothing to do with the app actually triggering the flow I have found. I have had the flow trigger before the push and the push trigger before the flow will activate.
I normally have enough time to open Chase and wait for it to do it’s thing before anything every comes through. This is also including time to find my phone on my desk/pocket as I have several places I set it.
I actually rarely use my mobile to buy things and even then 3ds is less as it’s normally Amazon etc.
Most of the time it’s from my desktop or sometimes laptop.
Once I get home in a week or so I will try and crack a test out. I also am wondering if my app is just a bit borked as I do get issues enough with it having problems loading transactions and taking an ages to switch to the savings etc that others don’t seem to mention it could simply need a reinstall but I didn’t want to do that before going away.
Thanks for showing it can be quick enough at lest, I mean monzo with its push approve is the fastest and easiest so far for me but Chase isn’t that bad in your videos at least.
Does settleUp for starling prompt the Mastercard 3DS?
With Starling it definitely won’t prompt the 3DS for SettleUp, no idea with Chase though.
I mean when paying with the Chase card on SettleUp, it does not prompt me for 3DS
Wish more banks were like Chase and offer you a tax certificate automatically and covering all the savings accounts you had.
Other banks you have to submit a form per account which is incredibly long winded.
No 3DS. Unsure if needs to be over X amount though, I only sent £10.
Starling notification came first, then email, then chase within a second.
Not to chase. But I did add starling to lottery and the first two transactions had to be Auth and then no prompt after.
It could also relate to the amount being paid, and possibly a trust rating from the payee bank to the merchant itself.
Tandem Bank have for my accounts.
Happy Easter everyone,
Don’t have too many chocolate eggs
I was just looking at the cash back section in Chase,
And it’s so annoying because I’ve recently been trying this “no/low-spend budget month” which I’ll probably continue throughout the year.
And so therefore I know I’m not going to be spending £1500 on the debit card a month to max out the £15 cashback allowance.
So far I’ve only got £1.70 in cashback since April. (When I started the no-spend challenge)
I doubt I’ll get even a fiver!!
Anyway, just thought I would let y’all know
Enjoy your Easter break!
eggcellent
If you’re saving more than £15 by having a cheap month, then you’re winning, surely?
What you save in not spending must exceed a mere £15 pm. Just because you can earn £15 pm doesn’t mend you have to spend, spend, spend
You guys are all right. Never truer words!
Thanks
I’m deffo saving more by not spending - than maxing it out to make £15 hah
All of these tricks these marketing geniuses come up with but we’re smarter!
I was gonna give it a whirl but I didn’t add enough last month to see how much cashback I’d actually get.
