I understand that you are asking for automatic retries, but the ability to retry Standing Orders and Pot Transfers from “failed transfer” feed items might help your issue.

I think it would be great if there was an option to easily retry a standing order. I know you could just send a bank transfer manually, but being able to send the correct amount with the correct reference etc… with a couple of clicks would be great. This is how I think it could work: Standing order fails. Notification comes through saying that the standing order failed because you didn’t have £x in your account.
