At the moment, exported PDF statements only show the name of the person sending/receiving money, but not the payment reference.
As these references are sometimes used to prove what money was for, potentially years later, it would be really useful to have these on there.
For example, NatWest’s statements show the payee, the payment reference, the time of the payment, how the payment was made (Faster, BACS, CHAPS, Visa Credit etc), and a payment tracking number too, which is all much more useful.
I know some of this information is available in the app, but short of screenshotting every single transaction, it doesn’t make for keeping a good data record myself.
