How do you access the T&C’s?
It’s an annoyance of mine that the T&Cs of savings account in the Monzo app are hard to find in advance of account opening.

I could only find it in a pre existing pot under ‘your savings agreement’.
There’s already an option to renew the bonus in the settings, so this is wrong.
In relation to this, I’ve made another thread here
For me, an even bigger factor is being within the ISA ecosystem.
This is for two reasons:
The first is that I hate, hate, hate tax-related admin. I appreciate the personal savings allowance (PSA) exists, but you still need to keep rough track of whether or not you’re close to the limit and in any case I prefer to keep the PSA for interest income from sources which will never be ‘ISA protectable’ - eg, non-UK P2P. If you’re already within self assessment, you have to declare your interest income even if you won’t pay any additional tax on it, and keeping track of that income across potentially many different products you’ve dabbled with over the year is too much work.
Once a UK financial year has passed, you can never get back the ISA allowance for that year. Now admittedly, with the advent of flexible ISAs, you can park all your cash in an ISA on 5 April and then withdraw it again and stick it somewhere else on 6 April, without losing your allowance, but again this is a lot of hassle.
I don’t understand why providers can’t offer their best rates in ISA wrappers, but perhaps someone with industry knowledge will enlighten us.
Hi Max, just curious with the increased interest rates on the Oaknorth pots will this newer, better rate be applied to existing pots?
thanks!
It doesn’t look like they will be.
I’ve got the new rates now but all my pots are on the old rate. Which to be honest I would expect.
Agree about expecting that, as they’re fixed pots, just a shame as I’m sure OakNorth are only giving better rates due to the number of people signing up / using the feature
