I did set-up PayPal direct debit as well I’ve made a payment using it as my funding sources so I’ll wait to see what happens, N26 says DD won’t show up on the ACC until its first used, similar to what NatWest does

What’s the most recent Experian report you’ve got?

It wasn’t showing on the MSE Experian report (which gets updated once per month) - But it was definitely there (because I checked with Experian directly).

just updated 5 days ago and I’ve opened my N26 ACC on the 13 Nov 18

You possibly just missed it - Depending on how the pieces fell into place.

Looks like all searches were done on the 8th (I also opened mine in November).

If you care, you can use the Experian 14 day free trial and check for yourself - That gives you a daily report, and will show it if it’s there.

don’t need to pay for Experian credit report as you can get it for free through a third party like clearscore, https://clubs.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub/login if anyone is interested instead of paying a monthly fee

I know, but what I’m saying is that the MSE report (the one you are checking), updates once per month.

If yours updated on the 8th, it probably missed the N26 credit search.

I had exactly the same issue (where my MSE report wasn’t showing the N26 search, but the actual Experian report was).

I had Metal purely because I needed the card. It is very nice, I’ll give it that. But anyway now it’s cancelled they reissue you a standard card so you don’t get to keep using it until it’s validity date which i suppose is a good move business wise.

Anyone received a reply re: credit checks today?

Nothing for me. I’ll chase tomorrow if I don’t hear back by then.

Asked them to close my account in November…
8 January hard credit search and account is still open…

Tempted to share this thread with Alex if he ever replies again…

I’ve asked to be put through to the UK team.

It’s painfully showing how little knowledge they have in expanding into the UK.
