Try saying that when you’re halfcut!

Can anyone think of stellar examples of buy and hold in retail banking? Sad day

Avios option is interesting. I wonder if this is a sign that we’ll get Avios as an option on the credit card?

One of the founders of Nutmeg has died.

I didn’t ‘like’ the post, but thanks for posting. That’s an incredibly sad and unfortunate story for someone so young & talented.

Although I don’t have active investments with Nutmeg. I got an email saying the terms and conditions are changing due to the change in name, and things like the contract email are changing too.

It turns out they haven’t been taking direct debit deposits for at least two weeks, so my pension payment hasn’t been taken, and they haven’t informed any customers. Mine was supposed to go out on the 28th of January and they just told me this today, which means it’s been broken for at least two weeks. Really poor for an investment platform to not only have an issue like this go unresolved for so long, but also to not tell customers who may not have noticed is even worse.

That’s bad, it seems this rebrand was maybe launched before it was quite ready for prime time. I wasn’t able to access my account at all not that long ago, and now I’ve seen this email today:

Summary

We’ve scheduled regular maintenance to our app and systems for several upcoming Sundays in February and March. To minimise disruption for clients, we’ve scheduled it early in the morning between 4am and 10am.

During these Sunday maintenance windows, you won’t be able to log into your account, either on the app or on the web. This means you won’t be able to see your balance, make contributions, transfer, withdraw or carry out any action that requires logging into your account.

I do miss the Nutmeg branding too, the design was nice.
