Changed a lot since the days I last checked then.
PAYG fees are very reasonable though. % based is way better than the flat fees that Pockit charge.
For the right person I can see how they’d be useful.
They’ve also just acquired most of the cardonemoney customers as well.
Shouldn’t exist at all. Preying on the vulnerable.
This is UK banking in general though. The entire system is set against vulnerable people.
Out of all the EMIs, I say thinkmoney is one of the better ones. Just my opinion though.
What are these related to?
Is there a Think Money thread and we move there?
Edit: I take back my words. I would be out of my mind to join them
I disagree.
The system is fair for the most part. Most banks have great vulnerable support teams for when they need it most, including but not limited to spending limits, wiping off debts due to circumstances, regular check ins, additional products and services (additional cards and third party access), card designs for visually impaired.
I’m not sure if Zopa has card notches like some others, but I have dealt with their specialist teams in the past, and even on clearing my balance some time ago and closing my credit card, they still took the time to contact me and check how everything was going and offered additional signposting services. That was a great touch.
lets continue over here
err actually it was 2995 times in my case
Final response letter received last Friday. Liability admitted, credit file now corrected by Zopa.
£75 compo offered and accepted. They’ve gone up from their original £50 offers it seems!
Concerningly, they admitted they did not know why they had failed to inform CRA’s in September 2025. For credit reference agencies to be effective, it is paramount that financial institutions provide accurate and timely information on customer accounts. Failure to do so compromises the integrity of the CRA system.
I hope the FCA are taking note and acting accordingly!
They also gave me £75, though it required me to write an actual letter to get them to that point. Singularly unimpressed with the way they handle complaints. (One of the replies I got was an automated response which was almost entirely about car finance.)
Yes, I got that same auto response as well.
From me accepting their offer, to receiving the money took a week.
I wonder why they’ve gone up to £75?
People rejecting and “going to the ombudsman” instead.
I’ve often struggled to get any form of credit card in the past however I noticed I appeared to be pre-approved for a Credit Card with Zopa.
Thought I’d apply and I’ve been given a £650 initial limit so not too shabby to be fair. It’ll be purely for fuel and pay off at the end of the month to help build up some good usage ![]()
I started with a massive £250 with Paypal credit, no other card was taking me. My second was a Capital one still at £250, then Vanquis at £250. ![]()

Ditched the other two and kept Paypal.
You are doing well.
Tbf I had to use the O word to get them to pay attention.
They are also going lowercase?
I’ll be sure to share a pic of the physical card when it arrives… they say it can take up to 2 weeks ![]()
Mine is the founder edition card still, as much as I like the idea of being a ‘founder’, I hate the design and wish they’d give me a Biscuit branded ‘founders’ card.
Does anyone use Zopa for credit? I can’t really see any point to it, no offers of any sort and a distinct lack of rewards etc to make it worth it
Target market is those building credit history. You are better off somewhere else if eligible
