I don’t dislike it, but I’m also a fan of simple one colour cards.
Not to accidentally derail again but mine was Merlin, that wizard dude was both amusing and useless in interesting quantities.
I’m a little curious though. Does using this as a bank and putting everything via the credit card work the exact way it’d normally work? In that you get paid a salary and all the bills etc just get paid off that and your credit limit?

Zopa have Monzo and all the other banks on their connected banks open banking offering. Are there any Monzo employees on this site able to share when Monzo will include Zopa on their connected banks feature?

Does Zopa even support connection to their accounts via open banking? When they introduced their credit card a couple of years ago they didn’t add support. I don’t know if they have added support more recently. If they don’t support it then Monzo (or anyone else) won’t be able to connect to it.

I’m not a Zopa customer at present, but I have been in the past, and it was a pretty good experience. I made a lot of use of their savings pots that offered a suite of notice periods so that you could phase the maturity dates and realise funds as desired. Before that I was into their peer to peer lending projects.
I only switched out as their rates became less competitive.

Called Zopa earlier to ask about their ISAs. Got through to their South African customer services. I couldn’t understand a word and they weren’t that helpful. I will not be transferring my ISA to them as can’t risk problems if I had to call again.

Can’t see if this has been asked already so I’ll ask now - with the 2% DD cashback, is that really for any direct debit? Like, if I paid my credit card off with Zopa would I still get cashback?
Yes. Lots of people on MSE have used Moneybox to pull through a single £1500 dd and get the cash back all in one go.
Very very minor change I’ve noticed today - you now have the ability to delete payees!

Just noticed no contact number on the back of the zopa card. Account did work well on the vending machines in a&e though using Google pay. Nationwide didn’t for some reason.

The back of the card looks like labels with your name and card number typed onto it. Front looks OK though. Good point about the phone number. A bad omission.

I’ve received an email from Zopa saying they’ll give me a fiver if I use Apple Pay. That’s lunch sorted

They don’t put the money in quickly though - was around 2-3 weeks for me but was a nice wee bonus all the same!
