No. Hell no in fact. How hard is it to call you to meet them at the car or deliver it to reception?
Same with delivery to my house. I don’t want to have to tidy the house in case they have a nosey around!

I have done this in the past, i had a webcam setup overlooking my car. My car had online services so I could unlock and lock the car remotely.
So when the delivery driver came, I could watch them load my parcel in to the car and lock it straight away.

This is similar to Amazon Key for Homes in the States. I would probably allow both as I buy too much from Amazon and my work frowns on personal deliveries to the school.
