Not bought it yet but it’s in my basket is this air purifier from Shark. My cat Loki has a lot of fur and he wants to share it all with me.
Does anyone currently use one?
I also bought this on a whim recently as I wanted to test out turning my office into a mini cinema. It was good for proof of concept but it also matched the price in regards to quality.
Yes, I have two of those Shark Air Purifiers (HP300UK). One in the lounge and one in my bedroom. Utter junk.
Both of them constantly report that air quality is at 100% and they rarely go above idle speed.
My previous BlueAir 3410s with air quality sensor were always detecting poor air quality and kicking in at high speeds. You could fart in the next room and 10 seconds later the BlueAir would be going at maximum speed. The Shark does nothing…
Unfortunately, I realised this after the returns period and have essentially wasted £560. Not happy.
My brother really wants a good cheap portable projector so that might be a good shout for him.
Can’t comment on the shark but I’ve got some Dyson purifiers. It helps with the dander, but not the fur, which remains everywhere all the time (husky in my case; cats are all DSH).
Buyers remorse will crop in by about 7pm on Monday.
I’m personally surprised you jumped given your views on AI. Google aren’t approaching it responsibly. What they’ve put on those phones is reckless and dangerous compared to what we’ve experienced from most others in the industry so far. More so than Musk, even.
