It’s the blue dot for new topics, and the grey thing around it is an iOS 17 artefact. It flickers when you scroll.

Same here. Checked on mobile (Android) and desktop and I don’t see it.
Because it’s an iOS 17 + Discourse app thing.

I’m on safari. Also not seeing any kind of flicker when I scroll.

iOS 17 latest beta, safari, still no icon like that.
I do sometimes get the flicker but I just force close and reopen and it sorts it.
It’s sporadic but I also get this from time to time, super disorientating. As @Carlo1460 says a force close and re-open fixes it.
I can’t replicate the bug @N26throwaway (latest Dev beta, light mode on safari) but if it happens I’ll report back

I get this too. No flickering. iOS 17, on Safari.

It’s definitely an iOS/beta thing, as I am not seeing it on my non-beta Mac. It also only appeared after updating to the latest iOS 17 beta.

It doesn’t flicker for me either at the moment but it did last night. It’s certainly a display bug like the glowing emoji on Beta 2.
