# What is Open Banking?

Back in January when the regulations first launched we explained what Open Banking is and what it could mean for you and your money. What do you think about the impact it’s made so far?

I’m a bit confused. This blog currently says

> This post was published on November 21st, 2019.

But from @bea’s post it seems that it’s much older than that.

I’m sure that whatever has happened was with the best of intentions but it would eliminate confusion if changes could be clearly indicated (for example giving a first publication date, then date of any change with a summary of the reasons behind it).
