What films do you recommend?

You didn’t complain loud enough.

You got to see your film, no?

Yeah, but so did the people above, no? Unless they walked out?

Can’t beat a bit of old jealousy on a Monday.

Age appropriation and a seat that you can sit in but not lay down in are two different things.

That you can’t :joy:

I mean, it’s the fault of the BBFC, not the cinema

I haven’t watched Beetlejuice since probably the 90s when I was a kid and I haven’t seen any trailers for the new one (don’t watch them in general) but I honestly thought Beetlejuice was a kids film.

Nah, it’s on the same level as the SAW films really, proper f’d up to be in front of a kids film

The way that cinemas get the film these days is on encrypted HDDs, but as I understand it the film is separate from the adverts and trailers, 2 different systems

Not sure if serious…

Is it more actual horror than the original?

Possible, I haven’t seen either, but saw was defo gore and “horror”

Hate jump scary shit, so I’m not the target audience

The original is a 15 and new one is a 12A so being on Saw level of gore seems a stretch.

The level of ridiculous was the same as the OG.

Can’t really see it being gore, other than someone being sew together with a stapler :joy:

Does anyone know why Million Dollar Baby is not available anywhere in the UK?

Ugh cuz we use the pound. Duh.

I’ll see myself out

Surely they could just make it available as the £766,600 Baby?

Movie name changes every day depending on the exchange rate

You’re right, that would be a pain in the arse, makes sense why we aren’t allowed to see it in the UK.

But seriously, I always wanted to watch it and now that I actually intend to, can’t find it anywhere nor a reason as to why.

Best bet is probs CEX tbh lol. Think it got removed tor licensing issues

Was thinking that but I no longer possess a disc drive

Great shout, got that on Plex now friday night film sorted
