What was the point of this thread? They build some momentum on round about the most requested thing on Monzo which is feature parity for joint accounts and the ghost the lot of us

I just want to request money from a Nonzo user from my joint account. Why is that so hard to do?!

Maybe I misunderstand what you want to do…but you can request money from a Monzo user in your joint account…

Nonzo as in not on Monzo. Sharing a link or QR code only works from single accounts.

The specific feature request (which we both voted for), was originally posted in 2018 and was subsequently closed at the start of 2021…

Monzo.me for joint accounts?

It would be useful to be able to make Monzo.me requests for a joint account, as we can with our personal accounts. Is this something that could happen in the future?

So instead, you could vote (I did) for Parity between Personal & Joint Accounts:

I am confident that there are many people like me that don’t even use a personal account but instead use the joint account as a main account. Please can monzo release the same features and capabilities to joint accounts when they release to personal accounts. If they are not ready to do so, then delay the release to personal accounts (unless beta testing) until they are ready to do so. This way anyone who wants to still have that feature on a personal account can join the beta, when its ready …

Except that was closed in 2021 too. Both suffered the lethally efficient @Feathers forum clean-up.

A flag will have been enabled when it shouldn’t have been - then subsequently disabled (or deleted).

I’ll have a dig into the current flag settings to see if there’s anything obvious.
