In case you’re unaware, you can still access a list of your savings accounts on the home tab via spotlights. Swipe down to access spotlights and then tap the personal balance spotlight. Spotlights remain visible if you don’t hide them, so if left visible a list of all your accounts can be accessed via a single tap.
The personal balance spotlight/list does however combine all accounts, so perhaps Monzo should consider also providing a dedicated savings accounts spotlight.
I agree with this comment. On Android, it is viewable in the Personal Balance tab at the top of the page. The only pot viewable on the front page is my non-savings pot whereas previously it showed savings pots as well. I’d prefer the “suggested for me section” to be deleted. If you delete it manually it re-appears magically. Very annoying.
While I’m happy with the Grow tab, I’d rather they also put the pots back on the main page so I can see all many across every account together again. Monzo accounts, normal pots, savings pots and connected accounts all near each other.
Doesn’t the Personal Balance Spotlight give you this (a list of all your accounts accessible from the home tab)? In that spotlight I see my Monzo current account, my regular pots, and my savings pots. But I don’t know if it would include Monzo credit card or connected accounts as I don’t have these.
The spotlight doesn’t include any external accounts and if they’re keeping connected accounts and normal pots on the Home Screen I’d prefer all the accounts there. Just seems disjointed for savings pots to be the only account type that was removed.
Ah ok, that makes sense. Personally I prefer the new approach of having spend and savings accounts in separate tabs (and I consider normal pots more of a spending/budgeting tool than a savings tool), but I don’t use connected accounts.
Is there a way to see what money has been added to savings in previous months without adding it all up? I like that is shows you the current month but it would be nice to see previous months too
As roll outs go this has been a mess for me. I carry most of my cash in my investments and it just magically disappeared from the Home Screen to this grow tab with no warning or sign posting. The fact it appeared for me post an outage last week also was pretty concerning. I would like to be able to see my investments from the homepage with minimal effort.
