Just got mine the other, day. I like it. Hopefully it will a bit more of a powerful tool once my personal pension is moved over. Its also a shame Trading 212 accounts can’t be linked to Monzo so I can see my S&S ISA as part of my net worth. It seems as though it something I manually add into the calculation? Unless I have missed something?
You can manually add accounts but you’d also need to adjust them every now and again for a true reflection.
I see the Investments now have a separate line for Invested VS Total balance.
I transferred in a ISA and because the value I transferred in is quite a bit larger than the amount I invested, it means the invested line looks flat and will be forever wrong.
Please can you give us the option to set a cost basis when transferring in? or use the transfer in as the cost basis?
Jumping back in after not being around on this forum for a long time just to say how sick I’m becoming of Monzo making things harder and harder to do simply. First we made it so I couldn’t so individual savings totals on the homepage, now I have to click into a whole new tab to see them. On top of that there’s now a tonne of junk on my homepage!
I don’t want the trends tab because frankly it doesn’t work for me so I’ve hidden it but now I just have a useless line on my homepage that I can’t get rid of? I also have a massive suggested block that I can’t get rid of … I’m already paying £17 a month … please stop constantly shoving things in my face, I know what’s on offer and if I want it, I’ll use it.
Monzo is the best app I use, Barclays and Lloyds aren’t great but god why do we have to itterate for the sake of it, which ultimately seems to just be more and more of a way to force people into investments, savings and other products through constantly shoving them in our faces.
The grow tab is really nice … but I want to be able to see all my balances and money in one place on the homepage and you’ve just slowly taken that away more and more which is such a shame.
At least let me re-order the homepage like you told us you’d do years ago … but then never delivered on that promise.
Eek. Time for a new bank for you ![]()
I gained access to the grow tab recently.
One frustration I have is that my remaining ISA allowance in this tax year is hidden away now. It’s not on the Grow tab (where to be honest it should be, replacing replacing something like the Auto Grow total which I’m not the least bit interested in).
When I click on my main Cash ISA pot it doesn’t show on that screen either. No idea why.
Instead, I have to click see more, then scroll down past the lovely rising bar chart to reach it.
That’s better
Not perfect, but saves me the click to check my graph now, which I think is a good compromise for losing the dedicated button.
I want target, not spending. Can I swap?
I now have the graph
I like it but would also like to swap between spending and trends graph ![]()
Much in the same way as Net Worth, what about manually adding to the ISA total widget. I have ISA’s elsewhere and would be cool to manually (for now) adding to this, so I can see I’m still no where near my £20K allowance
Though might be more helpful when the limits reduce next year. The widget should also be added to the Grow Home Screen not buried away.
Same as @Revels and @Paulw - I now have the Trends graph on the Trends tile on the homepage, but it shows only the spending graph which I don’t need. Is there a way to introduce something along the lines of:
-
selecting on the homepage Trends tile which Trends graph is shown (Balance, Spending or Target) using a selection on the 3-dot menu on the tile
-
the homepage Trends tile graph simply follows the currently selected graph option in Trends and displays the same graph (Balance, Spending or Target)
?
For those old enough to remember the pulse graph, a Balance graph display option on the Trends tile would almost reproduce the pulse.
Echo other people here, have the trends graph however would prefer the option to choose between spending and balance.
Not keen on Grow tab or new functionality on trends graph.
There is now a weird mismatch between different sections of the app.
New UI- eg do more menu
Old UI- eg. Manage account
Very old UI- Statements, category icons and transaction page
My solution to the rewards section was to opt out of Double payday and Cashback but Monzo have now given me a pointless Cards section that cannot be dismissed to replace it.
You used to be able to see your savings and investments in the home page, now you have to tap through about 3 pages to see your savings account, but you’ve added a second section to view my cards which isn’t needed? Can we change this back?
The recent UI update has been great for some aspects, but not for the savings/investments.
I now find myself having to do extra taps because I can’t see all of them easily.
Is there any way that we could have these shown all of the time? Sometimes I want a quick glance and now I find myself having to click into the Savings & Investments on the front page, then clicking on the +3 more and then scroll down to see them. The previous setup of this was much better.
I have the grow tab. That’s what I’m complaining about.
It is a little strange that I can see all my connected savings accounts on my home screen but my Monzo savings accounts are now multiple taps away
I’ve no objection to grow per say, but please don’t remove the ability of my savings to display on the home page. This is a significant reduction in the usability of the app, and if it isn’t restored I may have to switch bank accounts!
