We’re launching Grow tab 🌱 [Sign up for early access]

Like the new graphs in the investment area, like to see the difference between invested and what’s the gain/loss, nicely done

Yeah I noticed this last night, it suddenly changed for me, and it’s a welcome improvement. The investment graph has had a couple of nice UI changes lately which have cleaned it up and made it look better.

I really like this but would have missed it if this hadn’t have been mentioned (thank you!) - a very subtle update and could be more prominent.

Still no grow tab for me. Not sure if this a good or bad thing!

It’s a good thing. The tab is useless.

Some of the comments in here are fair. They’re constructive.

As for most of the comments, I can understand why they get ignored and why staff engagement is few and far between.

You’re welcome @jayclark I thought perhaps if I tried “learn more” on the Net wealth tracker I might be able to dismiss it. Nope, I now have a net wealth tracker which is incorrect (as I’ve not manually entered a load of details) but which I can’t dismiss.

Hopefully as this develops we will be able to dismiss the bits we don’t use. I’m happy for the app to remind me every 6 months or something, if I can still say “no, still not interested” - I appreciate some people will not want to do something yet but might be interested further down the line.

It’s an extra step to access the pots. Before I could see at a glance my total savings on the home tab.

Instead I’ve now got an ugly tile for me to go to trends.

I’d much rather have the dedicated trends page, and then the Savings & Investments tile.

Get rid of the Extra / Perks / Max icon at the bottom and replace it with Grow and also have trends down there. Would work much better

In fairness to Monzo, all of the grow things that I have are displayed on the screen without scrolling. Savings, investments, mortgage and net wealth. Things like learn are a scroll down. For me I think the screen needs work rather than removing things. I appreciate if you don’t use those features then it’s worthless space.

I agree with some other people here around the additional clicks just to see my savings. I now have no way of glancing across my current account and all pots. I have to jump between multiple places.

I got the grow tab today. And if you use savings regularly as pots don’t pay interest this grow tab just does not work.

What was one click to move money out of savings is now 3. Please bring back the option of saving accounts on the Home Screen.

I am not sure who was asked but clearly people who are happy to not earn interest.

If they added a withdraw button on the initial grow page that might help.

Maybe their thinking is it’s adds friction to people moving money out of savings as it’s their view that pots not earning interest should be used. Savings are for long term.

I feel like the budgeting parts of this app have been sidelined and hidden away with the new tab. It was nice seeing all the categories I was spending in with one click.

The Grow tab isn’t to increase visibility of our savings or spending, it’s Monzo in-house product ads disguised as a feature.
