We’re launching Grow tab 🌱 [Sign up for early access]

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

I’m Harrison, one of the Product Managers at Monzo. It looks like you have already spotted it, but I am excited to share we have started rolling out the Net Wealth Tracker in your Grow tab.

We know your money rarely lives in just one place. Savings here, investments there, a pension from an old job, maybe a mortgage or even some collectibles (for those with rare Pokémon cards)! Until now, the only way to see it all together was a spreadsheet or holding it in your head. We wanted to fix that.

What is the Net Wealth Tracker?

A single view of everything you own, minus what you owe, so you can see your true financial picture at a glance. You get a single net wealth figure and a breakdown of where it all sits.

What it brings in

We wanted to make it as easy for you to stay on top of all your money, so Net Wealth automatically includes:

  • Your Monzo accounts: current accounts and pots (personal + joint), Savings Pots, Investments, Pension, Flex, and loans

  • Your connected accounts: current accounts, savings, and credit cards via Connected Accounts, home equity via the Mortgage Tracker, and workplace or personal pensions via Retirement Forecast (in Pensions)

Then you can add anything else yourself: savings or investments held elsewhere, other pensions, property, premium bonds, cash, collectibles, jewellery, and more. You can toggle any source on or off, and anything you hide won’t count toward your total. It’s your picture, built your way.

How to find it

Head to the Grow tab and look for the Net Wealth section. If you can’t see Net Wealth in your Grow tab yet, don’t worry! We’re rolling it out slowly over the next few weeks to allow us to test and learn.

We want to shape this with you

We have plenty of ideas where to take Net Wealth next, but we’d genuinely rather shape what comes next with you than guess.

So here’s my one big question: what’s the single thing that would make Net Wealth Tracker an indispensable part of your weekly/monthly/quarterly money routine?

(Don’t restrict yourself to only one thing if you want to share more!)

Me and the team will be in the comments, reading everything and replying to as much as we can.

Give it a go and tell us what you think :speech_balloon:

Thanks, Harrison

Net Wealth values you add manually aren’t updated automatically. Monzo current account required. UK residents only. Ts&Cs apply.
