Waiting on Monzo chat to get back to me

Trying to purchase a car and been waiting in chat for over an hour for a limit increase. It said wait time was an hour but have no idea on an eta because the wait time doesn’t update.

It would be really good if the wait time updated to let me know if someone is going to be with me soon.

It may take longer to get the limit increased after the initial contact as it often has to be referred to a specialist.

I hope they get a grip on this soon, or at least acknowledge problems with a timescale to fix. It is crazy that after contacting customer service that you have to then wait AGAIN for a ‘specialist’ to perform a pretty basic function. I can understand chargebacks and disputes (for example) needing escalation, but not something simple.
