Virtual card help

Ah, well that’s gonna put a damper on my plans! The virtual cards were my justification for not setting up a spare account this time around. I’ll proceed with extreme caution then, thanks for making me aware!

May I ask why you don’t use your normal card. Normally casinos are pretty safe

Segregation. I don’t want my main debit card stored with so many different places, and I’d prefer all my in/out transfers to be tied to single card or account that is completely separate from everything else.

In the event virtual cards could be linked to pots, I had planned to set up a pot dedicated to matched betting. For now, I’ll just go back to using the Barclays account I set up specifically for this hobby!

Ahh that’s reasonable that! I just use any account for gambling as it doesn’t tend to bother me as much.

It would be amazing when they let you pay from a pot

I’m using paddy Power so fingers crossed. If not I’ll just have to wait for it to appear again and use my main card

May I ask why you didn’t use your original card in the first place?

Same reason as above. Don’t like my actual card being stored in a lot of places. Thought the virtual card would work as PP generally like to send your money to the card on file. I assumed it would be like a refund.

It mostly is, but gambling payouts have the extra rule that they must check the card is still active and the account is still open when they issue the payout. :slightly_smiling_face:
