I’ve posted this within the student account thread but wanted to separate it out as I think it could be something attached to the normal current account until there is a specific student offering.
It would be great if via Unidays or another student status authentication site, you could show a verified student status within the Monzo app which then links in to automatically apply student discounts where they are offered by retailers. I personally forget about the discounts that I can get sometimes and if they could be applied automatically through Monzo it would be awesome!
From Monzo’s point of view, it would also allow the business to see which users are students so that they can help tailor a new student account offering to them etc
