Are credit card pots something that will come to the UK. Is it a function that others would like? Is it something that is achievable with the linked accounts?

It’s something they built tailored and specifically for their US customers by the US team.
The US folks are quite literally killing it in terms of designing features for their user base that I’ve been wanting a bank to offer in the U.K. for so long. US customers can even assign merchants to pots too. Something the U.K. team have always told us would be impossible, which is why we got the rather hobbled and over engineered virtual card solution.
I hope it comes to the U.K. but I won’t hold my breath for it. In theory with open banking, it would have been much easier to build it for the U.K. too.

Agree. This would be an equally useful thing in the UK. Plenty of rewards credit card holders here too. I currently transfer money to a Lloyds current account, to accrue for credit card spend.

As said previously… seems like an easy implementation and I struggle to fathom why the UK team are not riding the coattails of the US team when they have good ideas.
