I’m starting to get the feeling venture capitalists will give money to pretty much anything, with little thought to whether the idea was ever going to earn their money back.

Just mention AI, big data and say “disruptive” a lot and the world is your oyster.

That’s amazing. Can totally see that being the case. Someone at work was using a web tool recently that advertised as “create presentations using AI”. I naturally thought this would be some Her style tech. After I was shown was it could do, it was clearly just a bit of workflow and some responsive designs.
