Traitors (TV show)

They’ve actually got some really good names on.

It shows how good the show is that people don’t mind or actively want to put their name to it.

OMG. Whilst the ‘Secret Traitor’ thing didn’t last as long as I suspect the producers would’ve wanted, there’s been so many twists and arguments this season I think this has been the best series yet….

I am absolutely loving this season!

It’s a rough series so far! Love it.

I do think some of them forget it’s a game though.

And I think the producers need to slow down on too many “changes” like people being related etc. it’s often how shows die when they steer away from the central game for likes and shares.

Amanda was very good at pointing this out. I thought she was a good player, despite being frequently wrong in her theories!

I’ve seen quite a bit of speculation online about more links between players yet to emerge, hence the family tree. I’m still a bit confused by people making such a big thing about Ross and Netty having known each other once - though interested to know if that was genuinely a coincidence.

For those who haven’t heard, the BBC have picked up the Irish version too - it’s going out next Friday, after the UK final. Siobhán McSweeney is an excellent host!

I honestly thought this tread died in the great exodus last year. Glad it’s still here!

Loving this series too. Harriet was an excellent casting. She doesn’t need to win at all, she’s clearly there to shift her books (and there’s a new one coming next month) but it meant that she had nothing to do beyond investigate and cause chaos. I do agree however with the comment about some people forgetting it’s a game. The way Harriet imploded last night was just too much. It looked like pure anger and was almost uncomfortable to watch at times. She was almost unlikeable by the end of the episode.I am however looking forward to everyone’s reactions when they find out she was right about Rachel.

They still haven’t actually explained what the second envelope is that banished get to rid on Traitors Uncloaked.
I’d assumed it was going to be confirmation of the speculation that Harriet and Hugo were brother and sister - but they wouldn’t have had to provide that envelope when it was just Harriet finding out who the traitors were.

So, are their other players with ties to each other? And if so, who do you think they are?

I wouldn’t say they have had too many changes. Really, the only new thing is the Secret Traitor and being able to talk to them. Both I’ve enjoyed and haven’t impacted the gameplay that much. It’s not like players being related is new. That was in the very first series.

This series has been so good. Definitely better than series 3 (and I loved that one) and especially after this episode, it has made me realise how I actually like this final 8 and would actually be happy with any of them winning. Just sad it ends in a week

They’ve cast it well, haven’t they?
There have been some great reaction shots in tonight’s episode that I look forward to seeing memed up over the weekend.

I would say last year’s may have been a bit better with the gameplay, but I’d rather have likeable contestants. Last year’s took everything way too personally for me.

And I am happy that for once, the Traitors are actually working as a team. They are so good together this time

Well that was a surprise. The faithful aren’t as clueless as we thoughy :joy: and it sounds like Rachel may be willing to throw Stephen under the bus. Can’t wait for the last two episodes!

So, doing the maths, there’s 7 left - Rachel, Stephen, Jade, Jack, James, Roxy and Faraaz.

1 is going overnight - leaving 6 at breakfast at the start of tonights show.

If Rachel and Stephen can avoid banishment tonight that’s down to 5. I assume there will be another person gone overnight as normal, so down to 4 starting the final episode - 2 traitors and 2 faithfuls. If they stick together, Rachel and Stephen will then have a high chance of winning if they plan out their order of banishment for the final round table - ie they agree on 1 person and stick to it and then cause enough confusion between the other 2 that they split their vote. If Rachel does decide to turn on Stephen it’ll either be to take heat off herself, or because she’s getting greedy and wants all the prize money. If it’s the 2nd reason, that’s very risky though.

It would be slightly interesting is Rachel and Stephen do manage to banish all the faithful around the table and it’s just those 2 left. They wouldn’t have the usual ‘and now tell the others if you’re a faithful or traitor’ reveal for starters.

I don’t think the producers would allow this to happen.

I think if a faithful gets banished next there will be nobody leaving overnight.

If a traitor gets banished next, there might be someone leaving overnight.

It’s also really annoying that you have to phrase it like this to keep the forum gods happy :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

I assume we’ll have the usual rule of tonight’s banishee (not to be confused with banshee) not revealing whether or not they’re a traitor, otherwise it might make the endgame a bit too easy.
The big question is whether Rachel will throw Stephen under the bus - I know she hinted at it at the end of last night’s episode but it could well have been the producers overplaying a throwaway remark by adding some dramatic music.

Feeling like they both deserve to win by this point for flying under the radar for so long - I don’t know if that’s good play by them or the faithfuls just being useless.
There’s been plenty of Joe Marler-style accusations which were right on the nose, but not translating into votes at the round table!

Now I just need to work out when I’m going to watch tonight’s episode, as I’m working late…

Your spoiler didn’t work

I’d say what I think about that, but the forum already didn’t let me post what I thought about the faithfuls. :litter_in_bin_sign:

So, watching Uncloaked tonight, I thought that Roxy looked really uncomfortable and they also didn’t actually show her opening the scroll to find out Stephen and Rachel were the Traitors.
I wonder if the Production crew spared them from having that shown on national TV and so cut it.

It will have been filmed with the banished person so they’ll show it tonight I assume.
