At this point, it’s got to be a bug, but also there is the “done” button, On the cashback reporting page that doesn’t work
I’m on the latest public Monzo version
It’s always the same dance every single time Trainline is offered as cashback with Monzo. It never works and I always have to report it.

This was better placed in the cashback thread for cashback things about cashback.

Agreed, but there is also a bug with the done button not working
What are the restrictions on the Trainline cash back offer?
Are you using a railcard?

Yes, disabled persons railcard, but that’s not explicitly excluded from what I see. As it’s not classed as an “offer”
Still results in a discounted ticket so that could be the reason.
Does it work fine without?

Doesn’t say anything about discounted tickets not being included, just offers - and railcards aren’t offers, they’re an integral part of the UK ticketing system.

Still results in a discounted ticket…
Which may look like an offer, which the system can’t tell and treats it as such.
But Monzo won’t know if it’s an offer paid or not, I doubt they get that information sent over from the merchant…… do they?!

I do want to see if it’ll work without the railcard, but that’s literally throwing money away to do so
This.
They’d see cost minus a deduction = offer in their eyes maybe.
True, depends if you feel your time is worth more for trial and error

I don’t see it as an offer if you have to qualify for a pass to get the discount, it’s not something anyone can get, but an offer is
There are no railcards for non qualifying non disabled people over 30
Nobody is saying it is an offer, but it might be seen as an offer in the background as the system can’t differentiate.
Not sure how else I can explain that.
There are Railcards for QUALIFYING non disabled people over 30.

Oh okay, wasn’t aware…. Guess that makes sense then. If there is one, I’ve not seen it, I guess the two together card doesn’t have an age limit
Two Together.
Veterans.
Senior.
Network.
Family & Friends.
Not a one of them is useful for me but still…
