Ah, is that because you use an Asda bag instead?

I ended up ordering this:

In theory I quite like its simplicity. But still kind of want that Fortnum’s blue card holder… :face_holding_back_tears: I’ll see how I like the H&M one.

I’ve been using it for 20 years. :eyes:

I love most Fjallraven bags, I think they look great. Way better than the generic boring “black laptop backpack” type of thing I see so many people sporting.

this one?

Finally found something to replace my 10+ berghaus 24/7 that has served me so well.

Think is exactly what I need and will give me flexibility to use it for work trips and my main travel bag. I might get the smaller daypack as well.

Just to say, Berghaus have a free repair service. I use it for my (over 10 year old) shoes.

If the item can’t be repaired they will recycle it and send you a voucher.

I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t carry cards at all day to day and just use my phone.

What happens if you lose your phone?

Probably the same thing as losing their wallet but at least they can just go home and get the physical cards until a new phone has arrived.

I never use my card but still take my tiny wallet out as well just in case, I’ve never needed it yet though.

I personally use a CapriSun (with Paper Straw) for my EDC wallet right now

Decided to move on from the Bellroy Tokyo Work Bag and just ordered a Chrome Industries Buran III Messenger bag… Probably more excited about this than one should be for a bag purchase…

I bought one of thes from Xiaomi a few weeks ago, really good quality for the price and a perfect small rucksack for work use.

Does it fit a 14” laptop?

What made you want to ditch the Tokyo, out of interest?

couple of reasons, firstly I just kind of got bored of the way it looked… Too laptop bag in hindsight

But also from a useability stand point I felt for its size you couldn’t get much in it. I’ll keep it to take with me to conferences etc. But for day to day much happier with the Chrome bag so far.

I’ve been looking for a simple card holder for a while to replace my MagSafe / Secrid ones every once in a while. After searching high and low, I’m pretty happy with this one from H&M. Made from leather offcuts, so not perfect, but was <£20
