Another car question - what are people paying for breakdown cover and with which company? Why are the prices so significantly different? I looked at RAC and Green Flag, and Green Flag was about £100 for all the added benefits
I’ve just had my renewal through from RAC with a special discount from Kia
they still want just under £100 and that’s allegedly with 48% off.
I’ve been looking and deciding between Brittania Rescue and Select Rescue which are both way cheaper

I used to have bundled breakdown (RAC) with HSBC Advance, then switched to bundled breakdown (RAC) with Monzo Max. Only ever used the HSBC once (it was flawless) and haven’t used Max yet.
Got Green Flag for £44.48. Only thing it didn’t include was European cover.
I found RAC was included with Aviva insurance. I was with Start Rescue before this, who I couldn’t recommend enough.
I’ve never considered using a debit card as a knife before. And it’s going to stay that way after seeing this ![]()
