I’m staying at a local hotel to get higher hotel status so I can have free booze at the end of the year for two birthday trips. That’s how I roll. ---

Received my replacement card for my expiring neon communtiy earned card today. Boring lukewarn coral. Ah well. It won’t see the light of day, so no major issue tbh. ---

Ha I’ve been dismissing the notification to order a new card every day since I cancelled Premium a year and a half ago. I can’t actually remember the last time I used the physical card, yet I’m still doing it. ---

Nice, it’ll be warm there for sure! It’s never been a place I’d want to visit in all fairness. Pyramids, sure, but I don’t think it’s a very 🌈 accepted culture, and I don’t see much point going and just staying in resort. ---

Almost guaranteed upgraded room, breakfast, snacks all day and evening drinks and food included with the basic rooms now for Poland and Malta so will be saving £800 at least on the rooms alone for the £79 for tonight to just randomly stay in a hotel. We’re kind of making it a night away… got wine and snacks and movies lined up ---

Did the camels/pyramids, turns out I’m very claustrophobic. Just off to play padel with a mate (first time). Tomorrow will be walking in the Malvern area, no plans on Sunday yet. Then Wednesday I head out to the Baltics for a few days ---

On the plus side, two loads of laundry line dried, a shedload of personal admin done, spoke to dad’s GP and consultant, and booked an x-ray for myself after less than half an hour in the call queue. Could be worse. ---

I made a surprising discovery today. We are all familiar with websites which reject postcodes either without or with a space, right? I found an NHS one which demands a different DOB format depending on what month you were born. Those born between January and September must use xx x xxxx, while those born between October and December have to use xx xx xxxx or it doesn’t work. Between that and them booking an appointment with the wrong department (occupational therapy is not the same as physiotherapy) it’s been an annoying day.
