The Eurovision Song Contest

I think this should affect the post based on posting users trust level too, sure, a L4 should be able to get rid of a brand new users spam or abuse post, but I don’t think above L2 or even L3 should be instantly hidden

Still think it was hilarious my comment was flagged and not the one I was replying to talking about the same topic, very obviously that person was using the flag tool as a silence anyone I don’t agree with button

The revenue brought in by televoting, I’d imagine, is far greater than ticket sales with much less overhead

I’ll take a guess they saw the most votes in years last night, and that Israel won’t be leaving the competition anytime soon

It’s all moot. At what point will countries take 15 minutes to use A.I. to do everything. I did it. Presenting “50ft Wombat with a Top Hat Full of Fish”. Yes, there’s A.I. now that can be used to generate songs. Countdown to when songwriters go on strike in 3… 2…

You have far too many AI performers on stage and therefore you are DQ’d.

Reckon the A.I. will probably wipe us out before it gets to this kind of thing, to be fair. Don’t think even A.I. could tolerate this sort of nonsense.

Looks like the real Eurovision party was over on the ASL stream.

A Norwegian presenter has apologised that his country gave points to Israel, and confirmed that he didn’t because of the conflict

Well if anyone is willing to fork out the extortionate Swiss prices, 2025 will be 13th, 15th and 17th May in Basel.

Currently hotels seem to be either fully booked or looking at £1,500 for two nights!

I may have just booked flights but I can cancel up to the day before. :grinning:

Hotels do seem limited, but once people don’t get tickets and nearer the event, hopefully there’ll be a bit more reasonably priced availability.
