Just that the pre-paid is being phased out; so I’d have thought all effort would focus on the CA app.
Probably not all, but many functionalities from prepaid can be reused in CA with small or minimal effort. Also, they might have been started on prepaid, so it’s quicker to complete on prepaid and test, then move to CA, rather than to start in CA code again from scratch.

Many of those updates are under-the-hood prep for merging the two apps (i.e. the prepaid app needs to support both prepaid and CA, and migration between the two)

our of interest, will the PrePaid app convert to the CA app or will the CA app be used with everything moving over?
My belief is the first option so the prepaid app will grow to support CA which is why things like DD support are quite rudimentary in the CA app.
The CA app is there to test the account features, not the app features so it contains enough to make sure the account features are useable rather than all the bells and whistles the final app would have.

Whats the current version of the CA app? I have 2.0.0 (322) from 29th August 2017. I don’t have any emails from Test Flight at all with regards to updates or anything, if there has been one…

If you go to your TestFlight app you’ll see that you have the latest version.
Cheers Bob, wasn’t sure if that was just the version I have or if there was a newer one I hadn’t got somehow based on the conversations above.
Anyone know what happens to my TestFlight app once it reaches the expiry date? I really don’t want to lose access to my current account and funds within it! 7 days left apparently.
You should have been migrated to the main app by then. If that hasn’t happened yet, there’s a document accessible via the help menu you can fill in to request a migration sooner.
How do I get an invite to this?
Best bet is to ask in the Monzo Slack.
