I notice that it takes more than 10 to 15 seconds to load the profile picture of friends in the summary and pay friends page. Though it is not a big deal, I am concerned how the future load will be handled once Monzo comes out of Beta and open to all.
Which operating system are you using?

iOS version 3.19.0
I don’t have a problem on my Android, maybe someone with an iPhone can comment.
The UK platform has nearly 4m users and no reported scaling issues so I wouldn’t worry about future load, maybe submit a bug report.
As far as I remember the profile photos are stored in AWS S3.
Maybe Monzo hasn’t yet changed the region for US accounts from an EU region?

I was thinking that, but it still shouldn’t be so long for such a small picture.
I used a VPN to the US East, and it still only took a couple of seconds to load.
