Hi. I fell for one of the bank switches that offer money to switch to them.
Can I come back to monzo?? I’ve had my monzo account for 5 years and instantly regretted the decision to leave … even for the £200 being offered.

You can always apply for a new account. Whether it will be opened is a different question. People have varying success after leaving.

Currently has a bug. If you press switch to us in Monzo app the app will just close. I’ve reported this.

If you’re just after a switching bribe from another bank, it can be helpful to have an account for that sole purpose. I’ve got one which has a nominal balance and a couple of charity direct debits, and every so often will switch it to another bank for a free hundred quid. My main account stays with Monzo and I don’t have to deal with changing any of my day-to-day details.
I can go one better than that. My dummy account has no direct debits attached and when I switch I just change a couple of direct debit details to the new account until the bribe is paid out then change them back.
No pointless DDs and no trouble.
Many people have successfully used Chase to do switches as you can create a new account with it’s own Sort code etc. just need to use your normal debit card for the switch. Works fine… just remember don’t switch out your main Chase or you’ll never get back

Issue now fixed with TestFlight update switch to Monzo is now working.
