Switch guarentee advice

Not Monzo related but wonder if someone can advise.

I switched my Yorkshire account to HBSC in Nov 2018. My work have messed up and are paying me in my Yorkshire account tomorrow when I change my bank details to Monzo 3 weeks ago.

With the switch will my salary be paid to HSBC, its a BACS payment.

I use a legacy account to switch every few month for the free welcome bonus and to pay in cash

If it was a ‘full’ switch and closed the Yorkshire account then the payment will be re-directed I believe. If it was only a partial switch then the money will go to whatever account it’s sent to.
