When we access our spending on the app, it gives us the option to choose which year, month etc we want to view and what our spending for that time was. HOWEVER, we also have the option to toggle when we would like the month to reset.
I would love to see an option that says “Reset from recent payment” a.k.a your salary. because it is more useful to see what your spending is between salary especially if your salary payment date changes each month. Sometimes I get paid on the 24th or 31st of the month, depending what day the last Friday is!
As a user, I want to reset the trends and breakdown on income so that I can see accurate spending.
At the moment, I can only reset based on date and this can be fiddly especially if the income arrives on different days. I know there’s a few things that can class as income but if we can choose: “Hey reset when I get over this much from this name” would be very useful.
I have been waiting for this to be sorted since the very beginning. Like many others, I have not really been able to use ‘Trends’ because I get paid every 4 weeks, so I can never make sense of it.
I find that the best way of budgeting for me is to put as much as I can under ‘Regular Payments’ and then split my salary into 4 weeks and pay myself from another pot each week.
Yep my sentiments entirely - It’s a total joke that we haven’t got a 28 day 4 weekly option. It’s a total faff doing it the way you suggest. Come on Monzo pay attention to this issue and fix it please
As an employee who is paid on the last Friday of the month I would l like to be able to set the Trends page monthly to something other than a specific day of the month, such as Last Friday and other common repeating patterns.
I get great value out of the Trends page, and this would make it even more helpful.
