Subscriptions review

Thankfully my university account from 4 years ago still works so I share that with a mate. But even if I didn’t I’d be happy to pay full price tbh.

Also available on Metal for a standard digital subscription.

So for £15 a month you get that plus a whole load of other benefits which makes the cost well worth it in my opinion.

It’s not even 15/month, it’s 140/year

:sob: Spotify have got rid of the 12 month £99 gift card on Amazon.

Get yourself in a family plan with 5 mates. ~£40 a year

Decided I’m going with Metal for the FT subscription.

In future, could I upgrade to Premium Digital separately, or are you literally locked into a 12 month subscription of Standard Digital.

It’s a corporate license that remains active for as long as you have a Metal account, I think that if you cancel then you lose access pretty much straightaway (which is different to how the other subscriptions work in Revolut).

I did upgrade to Ultra mid-term and got FT digital. I think I had to click a link in the Revolut app to upgrade the FT, but it was easy to do.

I’m not sure you would be able to upgrade subscription from Standard to Digital via FT though, I wouldn’t have thought so as the licence is a corporate one that belongs to Revolut and not the user.

Hope that helps!

Thought as much, so looks like I’ll have to upgrade to Ultra to get the premium subscription.

Thanks for confirming.
