Starling Bank Chat (Part 2)

I can see the difference in them, but they aren’t different enough for me to be able to remember which is which if I saw them on their own and had to identify which account it was.

I don’t really understand the logic in making them so similar, but different. You can’t tell at a glance which account is which, so just leave them the same?

If they were going to bother changing them to different colours they might as well have used the debit card colours at least.

I can see what you mean. The bottom one is greener than the top one.

I’ve not followed Starling colours and don’t even have their account, but to me these two look extremely similar and I wouldn’t be able to tell if I was looking at a personal or joins account just by the colour

To be fair you don’t need to tell the difference via colour as there is big text saying personal and joint

I agree. Not sure what they are doing. It would have been an ideal way to differentiate screens, but it has not been implemented.

Separate question Starling:

What is everyone’s experience of their Virtual Cards to spend from a Space? Any bugs or issues? I have encountered an issue with their expiry dates being too far forward for some retailers.

Also, does anyone have any insight on when applications for EUR accounts will reopen?

I have had no issues with VCs from Starling. Got a few set up for monthly subs, yearly subs, weekly food delivery etc.

Used regularly. 100% success rate (when not locked in app :man_facepalming::joy:)
