TV Licences?

In the Direct Debit thread, I’m amazed how many people have TV licences! I’m curious - do you do this in addition to other subscription services like Netflix/DisneyLife/Amazon Prime Video/etc, or is live TV and the BBC your only video content source? It’s just fascinating to me how many there are! Obviously, in the population as a whole I know there’s still a lot of demand for TV, but I’m still a bit surprised.
