Issue:
When entering an amount into the split bill UI, the input field doesn’t behave as you’d expect.
Details to reproduce:
Tapping the input highlights the pre-computed amount, but then when you press backspace it re-fills the field with “0.00” and places the cursor after the first zero. Then, upon typing the amount I want to split by (2.45 in my example), it completely messes up and goes to the maximum value.
The input doesn’t like to be empty. As soon as it’s empty, it defaults the whole input to “0.00”. When it’s in this state, pressing the decimal point also doesn’t move the cursor to after the pre-existing decimal point.
I’m using the SwiftKey keyboard, though the issue is also present on the default Samsung keyboard.
It’s worth noting that this issue has been raised before, and fixed. So, this is a regression.
