Smart Displays

Just make one that does everything you need it too? Raspberry pi 3’s already have a Google AI cardboard kit thing. Join that with a sub £30 touch screen for the Raspberry pi and all done for less than an off the shelf product

I may have just bought a touchscreen to build this…

I bought a 5" hdmi screen from Amazon on a flash sale was just over £20. Just need to find an SD card somewhere in the house. …

It’s like the A-Team without welding equipment…

Now I have that theme music going through my head…

The first one is out - the Lenovo Smart Display! It’s $250 for the 10" version and I really want one.

Reviews are excellent, too. Hoping a UK launch is imminent!

JBL’s one is up for pre-order too. I think the Lenovo one looks better personally though.

I have an Amazon Show, and it’s excellent. I’ve set it up so it’s a digital photo frame, the only annoying thing is that you can’t turn off “tips” on the main screen.

I have the Echo Spot for the bedroom alarm clock too and it’s incredibly useful for home automation and buying stuff!
